The 2024 Ram 1500 TRX is bidding farewell as production comes to an end this year, marking the end of the iconic 702-horsepower off-road pickup truck. Ram is commemorating the occasion with a special Final Edition, which comes with exclusive styling options and a starting price of $119,620.
Ram plans to sell 4,000 Final Editions worldwide in addition to the regular TRX models. The Final Edition stands out with unique paint colors, including Delmonico Red, Night Edge Blue, and Harvest Sunrise. It also features Satin Titanium beadlock-capable wheels, a color-matched hood badge, and a bedside graphic.
Inside, the Final Edition offers special touches like Patina contrast stitching, a “TRX” embroidery on the seat cushions, and a cluster badge that reads “Final Edition.” The center console hosts a badge with the truck’s specific build number, while the dashboard badge boasts a Satin Titanium finish. The cabin is adorned with special faux-suede on the door panels and an interesting matte carbon-fiber weave.
Pricing for the 2024 Ram 1500 TRX Final Edition starts at $119,620. While it does come with a hefty price tag, it also includes a range of standard features, such as a 19-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system, a head-up display, and various driver-assistance features.
It’s bittersweet to see the Ram TRX reach its end, but the memories will live on. From testing and jumping the TRX to a 40,000-mile long-term test, the high-performance V-8 pickup truck has left an impression. Its rivalry with the Ford F-150 Raptor will also be remembered fondly.
Although the TRX’s production is ending, enthusiasts can only hope that Ram has more in store. Perhaps a high-flying, widebody version of the upcoming REV electric truck or a mightier version of the Hurricane engine, capable of producing over 500 horsepower, could be on the horizon.
