U.S. Spec Reveals Stunning Facelift for 2024 Hyundai Elantra Sedan

Hyundai has unveiled the US-spec version of its updated Elantra sedan. The 2024 Elantra features several design updates both on the exterior and interior. The front end of the sedan now sports new front fenders, revised headlights, a slimmer front grille, and new wheel designs. Inside, the Elantra has received updates to the door panels, additional USB-C charging outlets, and new interior color options.

The facelifted Elantra closely resembles the Korea-market Avante sedan that was revealed earlier this year. The updated design gives the Elantra a more attractive appearance, with changes to the headlights, grille, taillights, and rear bumper. While there don’t appear to be any major changes to the interior, the Elantra could receive infotainment upgrades and new standard features.

Hyundai is not expected to make significant changes to the powertrain options for the 2024 Elantra. The current lineup, which includes a 2.0-liter inline-four, a hybrid, and a turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four engine, is likely to carry over. The high-performance Elantra N, powered by a 286-hp 2.0-liter turbo-four engine, is also expected to receive similar styling updates, but it may be launched a few months later than the standard Elantra. The Elantra N remains the only version to offer a manual transmission.

More information about the 2024 Elantra will be revealed in the coming months, as Hyundai prepares to launch the US version of the sedan. The updated Elantra is expected to go on sale in the US later this year.
